Gary Levin MD, has been apioneer in the use of electronic media and health information technology. is currently the publisher of Digital Health Space and President  of Clinical Information Exchange.  He is a founding member of the Inland Empire Health Information Exchange. The Inland Empire Health Information Exchange  is the largest health information exchange  in the United States and is one of the self sustaining exchanges now operating in the United States.   Gary Levin M.D. publishes several blogs including Health Train Express,and Digital Health Space and  The View from Here. His blogs are curated and published on Health Works Collective. He participates on several physician social media sites, SERMO, iMedXchange. Gary M. Levin MD is a Fellow of the American Academy of Opthalmology, and an Assoc  Cllinical Professor of Ophthalmology at Loma Linda University School of Medicine. He has had a distinguished career in  practice and owned Gary M. Levin MD In 1981 Dr. Levin was an early proponet of intraocular lenses following cataract surgery.  Currently Dr. Levin studies health reform and the impact of health information technology, it's consequences economically and the use of Health Informatio technology to improve outcomes and reduce cost.   Dr. Levin accepts invitations to speak to professional groups and consumer groups. His mission is to bridge the gap between providers and physicians...to educate decision-makers and patients about the importance of openness and transparency. Gary M.
